I started my interest in photo styling after earning my degree in Technical Arts from Johnson County Community College and courses in fine art from Kansas State University.

I recieved an internship with Hallmark Cards, Inc. in 1987 working with most of their photographers on staff. I then became Creative On Call for Hallmark after a year styling clothing for a sportswear company. This enabled me to freelance with other companies as well as keeping busy with Hallmark Cards.

After 15 years product styling I decided to move into food styling. I believe a strong design background has helped greatly in this field. My love of cooking and entertaining flows over to food styling and makes it very enjoyable.
